One-Minute Miracle Music Theory Course

One Minute Miracle Theory is a differentiated music theory course that takes only one
minute per day! You can use it yourself to learn music theory, or as a teacher for a
lightening fast effective lesson in your music classroom.
With forty 60-second worksheets, the One Minute Miracle Theory course will take you
from zero to forty music theory concepts in 60 seconds per day. Any student needing
more time on a concept will be able to continue with it the next day, resulting in tailoring
to each individual's needs. The student example sheet means that less instructor time
is needed as independence is emphasized.

The One Minute Miracle theory course is an effective theory course for the classroom
or for the individual. It takes only a minute each day, yet teaches a myriad of basic
music theory concepts.
Just begin on Worksheet 1 with a student example key being allowed. The worksheet
should be filled out in the 60 seconds allowed. If it's not completed, no problem! The
same concept can be worked on in subsequent days. Once a worksheet is mastered,
go on to the next.
Advanced theory and ear training can be learned with a music teacher. These basic
important theory concepts will set this up perfectly and can be learned individually or in
a classroom with this easy theory course.

- Lines and spaces on the staff
- Moving upward and downward on the staff
- Note Values in 4/4, 4/2, and 4/8
- Rest values in 4/4, 4/2, 4/8
- Note letter names in the treble and bass clef
- Intervals on the staff
- Key signatures
- Note rhythm names
- Dotted rhythms
Instructions: One copy of each level is included in the in the One Minute Miracle course. These worksheets are reproduceable so you can keep your master copy for as many uses as you would like. The learner should fill out Level 1 with a timer set for 60 seconds. Next, the worksheet can be corrected using the Instructor Answer Key. If there are five or less answered incorrectly, the learner may progress to the next level.
Using the Student Example Sheet allows the student to learn by example, some levels may be passed on the first attempt. Others, such as the key signatures may require several repetitions so that it becomes a game to name the key signature in one minute. Eiter way, learning is the result.
