| Hymns Q: How many verses of the hymns are on the CD? A: Most of the hymns have four verses, but there are some with more, and some with less. Q: Does the hymnal booklet show the words and the music? A: The regular hymnal booklet can be used by a live accompanist instead of the CD. The Text Only Large Print hymnal contains only the lyrics. Q: Will the hymns on CD work for a congregation? A: Yes. When you play a selected track from the CD, it will play a piano introduction followed by the verses of the hymn, one for each verse. Q: Do you accept Purchase Orders for a church? A: We are sorry, we no longer accept purchase orders, although exceptions to this rule can be arranged. Q: Do you have newer songs or accompaniment for contemporary praise and worship? A: We have plans for this in the future, although at this point a target date for completion has not been set. Q: Will you be making any more hymns available? A:. At this time there are no plans for more hymns. |

| Curriculum Q: I am considering using your music curriculum, but I don't know where I should begin. Do I have to start at the very beginning with Kindergarten Music? A: No. Although our grades do build on each other, they all cover beginning basics. We recommend starting with their current grade level. Q: What is the difference between the Homeschool Edition and the Classroom Edition? A: The only real difference is in how students are referred to. The Homeschool edition may say "your child" when the Classroom edition may say "your students". There are also some minor activity changes that are more conducive for one or the other. Q: There are fourteen lessons per grade. How should we use this throughout the school year? A: We recommend teaching one to two lessons per month with review in the weeks between. There are lots of other suggested activities you can do, which if you actually do them will take plenty of time. Our curriculum really goes hand in hand with other learning subjects, so it will seem like a pleasant natural fit to your child's learning schedule. Q: Should music curriculum be fun? Is Pfeiffer House Music curriculum fun? A: Yes! Why should music curriculum be boring and tedious? Children being taught with boring music curriculum will learn to dread it rather quickly. But we are hearing from families and teachers from all over the country who tell us that our curriculum is fun, and that the kids really enjoy it. Wait until they learn and sing "I Left My Big Yellow Dog in Topeka". Our curriculum was written to be enjoyable not only for children, but for you as well. Q: I am not musically inclined. Can I really teach this music curriculum? A: Yes. Follow the instructions in the book. The CD will play the songs and exercises for you. |
